Dr Kavitha Arulanandam

General Practitioner (Female) 

Dr Kavitha has been working as a GP for over 10 years. Dr Kavitha is highly experienced in Chronic disease management, and has special interests in Women’s Health, Mental Health, Antenatal Care, General Paediatrics, General family medicine and Indigenous health.  

Dr Kavitha completed her primary medical qualification in 2003. Dr Kavitha completed her internship at the Mount Gambier Hospital in SA. Dr Kavith worked at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in SA, and Monash Medical Centre, VIC before moving to Darwin in 2010.

 Dr Kavitha obtained her Fellowship in General Practice in 2013 and moved to Brisbane to be closer to family. 

Dr Kavitha is also committed to doing her part for the next generation of medical practitioners by supporting and educating medical students and GP Reigstrars.
